At Momentum Dance Arts, our dress code is about much more than appearance. Proper dance attire allows our instructors to see body alignment and technique, provide corrections safely and effectively, and helps dancers move comfortably and confidently. It also creates a focused classroom environment where students feel like part of the team and are ready to learn from the moment class begins.
We understand that many dancers will be trying new classes during the first few weeks of the season and that final class placements may not be complete right away. Because of this, your dancer may wear any color leotard for ballet classes until their placement has been finalized.
New this season: Our ballet program will have specific leotard colors assigned by level. Once your dancer's placement is complete, we ask that you purchase the appropriate color as soon as possible.
We kindly ask that all dancers have their required dress code, including the appropriate leotard, by October 1st (or sooner if their class placement has already been finalized).Planning ahead helps ensure your dancer is ready to learn, prevents delays once classes are underway, and allows our instructors to provide the best possible training experience for every student. If you have any questions regarding dress code or what your dancer needs, please contact Ms. Cata at [email protected]. We're happy to help!

We respectfully ask parents to ensure that their children's name is written inside all dance shoes.  A dance bag is strongly recommended to avoid “shoe mix-ups.”
