Momentum Ballet Conservatory
MDA’s Pre-Professional Ballet training program is for dancers ages 4 -18. The program provides curriculum-based classical ballet and prepares dancers with a focus on excellence in dance education. Classical Ballet is the most expansive codified language in dance with a rich history dating back to its origin at the Paris Opera. Ballet is the base language to most other dance forms.
Classes include Ballet, Pointe, Variations, Repertory and Pilates with mentorship in resume building and audition preparation. Acclaimed master teacher and Director, Nancy Turano will lead the ballet program along with an esteemed faculty of experienced professionals.
From Creative dance to young dancer’s programming to pre-professional training program, dancers learn to develop their imagination, artistry and classical ballet vocabulary. Classes focus on ballet line, alignment, coordination, artistry with musical phrasing. Our master teachers encourage each individual dancer with a balance of disciplined rigor and joy of movement. Repertory will consist of classical ballets as well as contemporary ballets to provide dancers with the rich history of classicism as well as the cutting-edge evolution of the form needed for higher education and as professionals in the field.
