This intensive is open to our Community and we hope that you will help us spread the word. 💚
This one-day event will feature an incredible lineup of instructors with backgrounds that include world-renowned companies, college dance teams, and professional performance credits in NYC, Disney, cruise ships, television, and more.
This intensive is designed for intermediate to advanced dancers ages 8–18.
Dancers will have the opportunity to train in a variety of styles, including
Jazz Funk, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip Hop, Yoga, and Pom (College Dance Prep).

Fall Dance Intensive November 9th (Alachua Studio)

This Fall Intensive is for ages 8-18, Intermediate/Advanced dancers only. Dancers will take classes with industry professionals. The Intensive will be 12-7:30pm, Sunday November 9th. Each participant will have classes in Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Jazz, Jazz Funk, Yoga & College Prep Pom Class.
Faculty Bios
Caitlin- Jazz
Born in NYC, Caitlin Gray’s diverse background, which includes dance, gymnastics and circus arts, has made her a highly sought-after choreographer and creative director. She believes that teaching is an integral part of giving back to the artistic community and has taught master classes all over the U.S. and abroad, including South Africa, United Kingdom, U.A.E., Turkey, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Canada and Australia. Her love of bringing ideas from conception to creation has fueled her twenty-six year professional career and continues to inspire her work to this day. Caitlin has most-notably worked with director Baz Luhrmann and Oscar-winner Catherine Martin on both the World and Australian premieres of their film “The Great Gatsby”, earning rave reviews. She has also choreographed for the CBS show, “Reckless”, featuring Cam Gigandet (“Twilight”, “Burlesque”) and Anna Wood. Caitlin has worked extensively with Sony Music, choreographing live performances and music videos for many of their artists, including The Veronicas (“You Ruin Me”, ARIA Winner, Best Video of the Year) and Bonnie Anderson (“Blackout”, “Rodeo”). Additional credits include the BMW Series 5 Launch in Singapore, featuring activist Lewis Pugh, Marina Bay Sands “Beyond Expectations” in Tokyo, featuring David Beckham, NBC Kids, Miss USA, Speedo International’s Olympic Product Launch, featuring Michael Phelps, Liberty Bowl Halftime Show, featuring American Idol winner Taylor Hicks, and several music tours, including performances on the Big Time Rush Tour. Theatre credits include Spring Awakening, The Moors, Head Over Heels, The Tempest, Eve’s Turn (Broadway workshop) and Saturday Night Fever. Caitlin conceived, directed and choreographed a short dance film, Reverie, winning 17 awards on the film festival circuit, including Best Film, Best Music Video and Best Director.
Caitlin is currently a professor of Dance at Kennesaw State University and represented as a choreographer by Aris Golemi at Xcel Talent in Atlanta, GA. She is also on faculty at Xcel Studios and guest faculty at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway in NYC. Kelly- Yoga
Born and raised in Gainesville, I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Human Resources and a minor in Nutrition. With 30 years of experience as a Certified Personal Trainer and seven years as a yoga instructor, I am passionate about promoting holistic well-being. My dedication to health and fitness inspires me to empower others to achieve their full potential, both physically and mentally. I look forward to collaborating with you to elevate your workplace wellness through personalized yoga and training services.
Juicy- Jazz Funk
Jaliyah “Juicy” Kersten is a nationally recognized dancer, choreographer, and coach with over 17 years of training and performance experience across a diverse spectrum of styles—including ballet, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, ballroom, modern, kick, pom, and tap. Her versatility, technical excellence, and magnetic stage presence earned her a coveted spot as a Top 24 Finalist on So You Think You Can Dance and a leadership role as co-captain of the University of Central Florida’s collegiate dance team.
Today, Juicy travels nationwide, choreographing for elite studios, high schools, collegiate programs, and major bowl game performances. She is highly sought after for her award-winning group routines, standout solos, and dynamic duets, consistently delivering innovative, high-impact choreography across all styles and age groups. In addition to her freelance choreography work, Jaliyah is a Professional Assistant with the Artist Simply Human (ASH) dance convention, where she supports master instructors and helps shape the next generation of dancers. She also serves as the assistant coach and lead choreographer for the nationally ranked Lake Mary Marionettes, bringing her signature blend of precision, creativity, and energy to the team’s success. Known for her bold style, contagious enthusiasm, and unmatched ability to bring out the best in every dancer she works with, Juicy continues to elevate the standard of dance wherever she goes.

Jen- Tap
Jenn Maples is a performer, educator, and choreographer currently residing in Orlando, FL where she is a Stage Manager for entertainment events at Universal Studios. As a member of the Actor’s Equity Association, she has worked with the world’s leading entertainment companies as both a choreographer and performer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines, Viking Ocean Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Line, ABC’s Philadelphia Thanksgiving Day Parade, and The Walt Disney Company as an Equity swing ensemble performer in “Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage.” She has also worked with multimedia brands such as ABC, Lifetime, HGTV, and The Food Network. Jenn’s experience in the industry also includes back up dancing for award winning recording artists such as The Pussycat Dolls, Mya, and LeAnn Rimes. Though her success has led her into many genres of the industry, opportunities such as 42nd street in Las Vegas, improv tapping at Walt Disney World at “The Edison” to recording tap tracks for major shows and parades have allowed Jenn to share her passion for tap education as well as choreographing for numerous studios and competitions. Jenn strives to keep the arts a medium accessible for all, traveling the country helping dancers from all over to reach their goals and further their understanding of the industry.
Jessie- Ballet
Jessie Dominguez is a classically trained ballerina who started her education at the Alejo Carpentier Elementary School of Ballet in Havana, Cuba, in 1993. She continued her studies at the Cuban National Ballet School Fernando Alonso, obtaining numerous awards, including a silver medal in 1998, another silver medal in 1999, and a gold medal in 2000 at the International Ballet Encounters of Academies Competitions for the Teaching of Ballet held in Havana, Cuba. In 2001, she graduated from the Cuban National Ballet School as a Distinguished Graduate and received Gold Diploma, the highest award given to only one person per graduating class”. The same year, she was selected to become part of the world-renowned company, the National Ballet of Cuba, under the artistic-technical direction of the founder and absolute prima ballerina Alicia Alonso. After initially serving as a soloist, she was rapidly promoted to principal dancer. Her repertoire as a principal dancer included Giselle, Don Quixote, Swan Lake, Coppelia, La Sylphide, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Apollo, Carmen, Nutcracker, La Fille Mal Garde, La Bayadere, Theme and Variations as well as contemporary and neoclassical works by creators such as Alberto Alonso, Laura Alonso, Alberto Mendez, Gustavo Herrera, Ivan Tenorio, Jean Gran Maître, Annabelle López Ochoa, Luis Serrano, Peter Quanz, Gerard Ebitz, among others. Jessie Dominguez possesses a rare combination of skills and experiences. She has trained and performed at the highest level in the masterful tradition of Cuban National Ballet yet she fluidly transitions she excels in performances of a more creative/experimental nature. Her work ethic is impeccable and she has delightful interpersonal skills. She is a thoughtful critic and teacher, encouraging and enlightening dancers of all ages and abilities. Jessie is currently the ballet professor at Santa Fe College.
Alexa- Hip Hop
Alexa Endicott is a professional dancer and choreographer based in Orlando, Florida. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Dance from the University of Florida and is currently an instructor at, The Exchange Dance Academy, an adult-focused studio in Orlando. With a rich background in performing on stage and in music videos, Alexa has worked with companies, such as Nike and Netflix. As well as renowned artists such as Enrique Iglesias, De La Ghetto, Thalia, Yandel, Arcángel, J Álvarez, and many others. Passionate about dance education, she is dedicated to passing on her expertise and inspiring the next generation of dancers to reach their full potential.
Brinkley- Jazz FUnk
Brinkley Johnson is a double major at the University of Florida, pursuing a BFA in Dance and Business Administration. She trained for 15 years at The Dance Company in St. Augustine, FL, under the direction of Stephanie Burkhardt, honing skills in tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, acrobatics, and contemporary. In high school, Brinkley was captain of her varsity dance team, leading them to a national ranking, while also serving as President of the St. Johns County Center for the Arts Dance program. From 2021-2023, Brinkley taught at The Dance Company, with her choreography featured in numerous performances and competitions. Her experience as an instructor has helped her develop a deeper understanding of choreography and mentorship. Additionally, Brinkley works as a Professional Apprentice with Platinum National Dance Competition. She travels nationwide, learning from world-renowned performers and choreographers while assisting with both the competition and convention operations. Brinkley hopes to combine her academic and dance backgrounds to help others learn and foster their love for the art form of dance.
